Hi to all my ALLEN Cousins!!
I recently tripped over a really good NEW Genealogy site-so thought i would pass it on!
It's different,as it has 1000s of IMAGES, everything from Old Photos to scanned images of documents, pages of text, family info, de- scendancy charts, gravesite and yearbook pix, as well as separate Ancestral Records for each person, with hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of individual SURNAMES (Allen individuals included)!!
And they ADD more Images/Records Weekly!! I got real lucky and found some info and pix on NOT Only my ALLEN family, but also my King,Spencer,Rice,McDonald,and Doolittle, too!!
The name of this new site is cute,too. It's called Gumshoe Genealogy.
And as we can't post web addresses in these postings, let me just say that you can find it by doing the following...
Put in the name above (push both words together likeso)then follow that by the dot com.
