EMELINE "EMMA" S. CARTER

I am trying to find any information on my great great grandmother Emeline "Emma" S. Carter. She was born February 2, 1852 somewhere in Alabama. My entire purpose of finding what I can about her is for finding what I can about my great great grandfather Richard Grigsby. Who died mysteriously February 4, 1885 in Natchitoches, Natchitoches Parish, LA. His death has some mystery behind it and there is rumor that he was murdered because his body was never found. The most I have been able to find is that they were married July 05, 1866 in Wilmington, North Carolina by Elder J. McDonald but the record of the marrage has been imposible to find. The only reason I know this much is from a family bible. Emeline died December 15, 1932 in Natchitoches, Natchitoches Parish, LA.
