My father is Franklin Delenor Loy. His brothers are William, James, Thomas, and youngest brother also William(Bill as he is called). My father has 1/2 brothers, from his father Anthus remarriage, whose names are George and John. Only Franklin, William and Bill are surviving.
I know my father Franklin D. Loy was raised in Kentuckey and spent much of his childhood in hard labor at an uncle and aunts farm in Hardscratch, Ky.
Seems the family was split up when Anthus had an affair. His wife Nellie(Compton) never forgave him, and left the family behind. The youngest 2 boys(Franklin and Bill) were sent to the uncles farm and the older boys Thomas, William, and James moved on to Michigan.
Perhaps I am related to Martin Luther Loy. It is interesting how all of the same first names you mentioned are my uncles.
