I believe that my great-grandmother was a Savant from Louisiana. Her married name was Wilda Stagg. She and my great-grandfather lived in the small community of Whiteville, which is located in St. Landry Parish. She was born in 1905 and died in 1983. I've been unable to find any info on her family to this point. Anything you know whould be greatly appreciated.
