I am looking for the parents of "Catherine", (full name may have been Mary Catherine) Scott and John D. Boone? I am also trying to findout who James and Benjamin Scott are and are they related to Catherine Scott, (my line). The information I have thus far on John Boone and Catherine Scott Boone as well as James and Benjamin are as follows:
The information I have been able to gather on my line is limited. To-date I have been able to locate the following genealogy information:
John D. Boone, born Ky., 1821, (John may have been born in Warren County, Kentucky) -died ca. 1888 Boone Township, Greene Co., Missouri. Buried at Kelly Chapel, Greene Co., Missouri. Married ~ ca. 1845 to a Catherine Scott, born Georgia, (possibly in Kentucky) ca. 1825 died 1866 or 1887, (probably in Grayson Co., Texas).

6. Robert Scott Boone, born July 1866, Grayson Co., TX. Married first Cora A. Knowles, born Aug. 29, 1873 - died May 12, 1891, buried Pleasant Ridge, Polk Co., Missouri. Second wife Minnie Mae Shuler, born May 1881, Indiana.

At this time, I am leaning toward James Scott and Elizabeth _______? as being Catherine's parents. From the census I have gathered the following information: James Scott was born about 1792 in Kentucky; Elizabeth ______ was born about 1802 in Kentucky. Their children are: Malinda Scott, born about 1828; Andy Scott, born about 1830; Elza Scott born about 1833; Robert Scott, born about 1836; William Scott, born about 1836; Benjamin Scott, born about 1844; Milndred Scott, born about 1848.
I am also trying to find out who Benjamin Scott and Amanda_______ are and what relationship do they have with the Boones. This following is what I have on Benjamin Scott and Amanda _______":
Benjamin was born about 1844 Arkansas, (I believe he is the son of the James and Elizabeth that I mentioned above); Amanda was born about 1848 in Tennessee? From the census it shows that Benjamin and Amanda had the following children: Edmund Scott, born about 1868 Cambell Township, Greene County, Missouri; Fanny Scott, born about April 1870 Cambell Township, Greene County, Missouri; Nancy Boone, 1851 born somewhere in Arkansas. Who is Nancy Boone?
By the way, I found a Nancy Boone, born 1851, Ark. I don't have any idea who she may belong with perhaps someone has heard of her. I found Nancy Boone while I was searching for the parents of Catherine Scott, my John Boone's wife. Nancy Boone, is listed in the same 1870, Greene Co., Missouri, census # 1338 as that of Benjamin Scott and Amanda ____. Unfortunately, I am not sure whom Benjamin Scott and Amanda ______, are they related to Mary "Catherine" Scott, (wife of John D. Boone, my line). The Census indicates that Benjamin Scott, being born 1844 Ark. His wife Amanda ______, born 1848 Tenn. One son Edmund Scott, born 1868 Mo. and one daughter Fanny Scott, born 1870 Missouri.
