My great grandfather was James Timothy Smith he was born 12/22/1889 and died 07/13/1959. He married Lillian Barks they had three children Roselind (Rosemond, My grandmother Jeanette, and a son James T Smith JR. After Lillian left the family James aka Jake gave the three children up for adoption to Judge Franklyn B. Hayward. I believe all this took place in Marine City, Michigan or at least in that area. My grandmother married a Carl Guenther and then divorced him after having there only son who is my father he was also named after his father. Though his name was later changed to James Lester after being adopted by his step father Stanley Lester. I need this information to find out who I am and what my history is. I was also adopted by my step father. The story ends happily considering my b father and mother are once again together after 40 years of separation. They were never married and it is nice to see the two of them happy and able to spend there remaining days together. But we need to find out our history I would love to be able to give my dad family information before he dies.
