In Response To: Croke/Croak family (SANDRA)

Hello, have been doing family research and my close family (Mother's IRISH branch) has many graves in Janesville, Wisconsin at Mt.Olivet and stones right next to each other are Croak and Croke! Why the difference in spelling? I am the great great great Grandaughter of John and Julia Croak of Janesville WI. They were both born in Ireland, probably in the 1840's.
